What guests say
We recently had our wedding at The Queen Hotel and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived until the day after our wedding, everything was so well organised and every member of staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. We stayed in both the Lily Sanctuary Suite and the Junior Suite, and both rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax before and after the wedding. The little touches, from breakfast while getting ready to the thoughtful welcome treats, made our stay even more memorable. Our wedding day ran so smoothly, allowing us to completely relax and enjoy every moment. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the day was and how incredible everything looked and felt. There were one or two very small issues during the day, but they were minor and didn’t take away from what was an absolutely perfect experience overall. We can’t thank the whole team enough for making our wedding so unforgettable. We would highly recommend The Queen Hotel, whether you’re looking for a beautiful wedding venue or simply somewhere special to stay. We can’t wait to come back & visit!

A little friday evening to Sunday Lunch weekend away in Chester. Chose the Queen as it was right next to the station and only a 10 mins walk into Chester. We opted for an executive room and then paid the optional upgrade offer at reduced rate. Have to say putting to singles together and two mattress is not something I am a fan of. When you pay for a king or double then that's what you should get. The room was not anything special at all really. The tiny window was over a carpark. There was no safe in the room which should be standard. The tea and coffee was limited to 2 sachets per 24hr, again not great. There was no fridge to keep water or drinks in. When its 25 to 28 outside then a fridge is a must The climate control was an absolute pain... it blew cold air out all night and then roasting hot about 6 am no matter if you turn blower off and temp to 18. Absolutely stupid. The bar area was ok but service very slow and coctails are way over priced. I suggest you walk over the road or 5 mins towards town for plenty of bars and restaurants. Whilst it is very easy for the railway and a nice walk into town, what promised to be a very nice hotel was a bit of a let down and thats a shame as we have plans to return to Chester, but i couldn't say I would return on first experience. Shame as the hitel inside is fantastic.

Our family from Taiwan had a wonderful stay at The Queen at Chester Hotel. What impressed us most was not only the beautiful hotel, but also the exceptional kindness and professionalism of Manager Mr. Wu. During our stay, we encountered an unexpected situation. Mr. Wu remained calm, listened patiently, and did everything he could to help our family. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine care turned a stressful moment into one of the warmest memories of our trip to the UK. He made us feel truly welcomed and reminded us that outstanding hospitality is created by wonderful people. Thank you, Mr. Wu. We will always remember your kindness, and we hope to visit Chester again one day. 來自台灣的一家人,衷心感謝您。

Lovely staff and the rooms are very nice, but the bathroom was not what I’d call clean. A couple of brown streaks on the bath that looked like #€* , scum around the soap dispensers and black dirt around the taps, a cleaner did came and cleaned it properly but it shouldn’t have been there in the first place. Aircon was very good, got the room nice and cool.
