Ty Newydd is a detached cottage in Gyffin, between Conwy and Betws-y-Coed, with everything needed for a self-catering stay already in place. The ground floor holds a living room with smart TV and woodburner, a separate dining room, a kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave, and a bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed and one with two singles, sleeping four in total. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, along with wifi and on-site parking. The initial fuel for the woodburner is provided, and there is an enclosed garden with furniture outside.
The cottage sits within easy reach of Betws-y-Coed's shops, restaurants and riverside walks, roughly a mile away. The Gwydyr Forest surrounds the property, offering immediate access to forest trails, lakes and cycling routes. Further afield, Conwy Castle and Bodnant Garden are accessible day trips, as are the adventure attractions dotted around the region—ziplines, trampoline caverns and the inland surf lake all fall within a 20-minute drive. Train journeys from Betws-y-Coed run through the Conwy Valley and connect to the narrow-gauge Ffestiniog Railway toward the coast. One dog stays free. No smoking inside the property.
