This converted barn sits within Porthpean Golf Course, positioned to make the most of long views across St Austell Bay towards Fowey. The open-plan ground floor spreads living, dining and kitchen space across one area, with French doors opening onto a terrace facing south-east. A full kitchen handles proper cooking, and upstairs the main bedroom sits directly above, capturing the same outlook. Two further bedrooms and two bathrooms mean four guests can spread out comfortably.

Porthpean Beach lies a few hundred metres downhill: sandy, sheltered, safe for swimming and dotted with rock pools where children hunt for small crabs and starfish. The golf course itself wraps around the property, with the clubhouse a short walk away serving reasonable green fees alongside meals and drinks. A parking space and grassed area to the front come as standard. Essentials like electricity, heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are provided.

The Eden Project sits just east of St Austell, the Lost Gardens of Heligan a short drive south-west, and the Roseland Peninsula's fishing villages fall within thirty minutes' drive. Newquay's beaches and surf spots are roughly the same distance north. No smoking in the cottage itself.
