About St Michaels Resort
St Michaels stands on the Falmouth seafront, a few steps from Gyllyngvase Beach and about ten minutes' walk from the town centre and the harbour. The setting is one of the gentler ones in Cornwall — this is the sheltered south coast, with calm water, subtropical planting in the hotel gardens and a promenade that runs along to Swanpool. It is AA-rated four stars and has been substantially rebuilt over the past decade.
Accommodation covers standard and sea-view rooms in the main hotel, larger suites, and a separate group of self-catering hideaways and cottages within the grounds for families and longer stays. Rooms are bright and contemporary, with the front-facing ones looking across Falmouth Bay towards Pendennis Point. Room-only, bed-and-breakfast and spa package rates are all available, and the packages usually represent the better value.
Facilities are unusually extensive for a hotel of this size. The spa has ten treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy pool, saunas, experience showers and a rhassoul chamber, and there is a separate health club with a 20-yard swimming pool, gym and fitness studio running classes. The restaurant leans hard on Cornish produce and Falmouth-landed fish, with a more casual café and terrace for daytime eating.
Falmouth itself makes this an easy base for exploring the south coast: the National Maritime Museum, ferries to St Mawes and up the Fal to Truro, the Helford River and the great gardens at Trebah and Glendurgan are all close. It suits couples on a spa break, families who want a pool as backup for wet days, and anyone who would rather have a working town with proper pubs and restaurants on the doorstep than an isolated coastal position.

Only just realised after my what is now 4th visit i hadn't left a review. This place is my slice of heaven! All 4 time of coming here have been perfect! From the beautifully decorated and clean layout of the rooms/restaurant and bar. The spa is amazing and the best you will in the south West! In all 4 times I have been here the staff and food have been amazing. Special mention to Andy,Tom, oli and the most incredible head chef luna! Found out luna has been here all the times I have been here but now has been elevated to the head chef role! What a job she has done. They better not ever loose her. Her passion and love for food shines on every plate! Looking forward to coming back! It will not be long, i can only pray the scallop dish is still on. Again huge love to all the amazing crew and staff at this amazing slice of heaven!

I cannot express enough how incredible the staff are, they are so friendly and polite but extremely professional. Big up Isla, one of the bar staff, she is the most amazing person and such a sweet girl. If you're thinking about staying in Falmouth I would 1000% recommend this hotel. Best place i've ever been to. I cannot compliment them an enough and I cannot criticise them in any way.

The place is lovely my wife had a mud scrub which she loved but wished there was a clock because you do it all yourself she didn't know when to change to the next part of it. She also said the changing room didn't have enough space to clean up to many people using the mirrors so when she came out she still had mud on her. We aslo both used the spas pool for 2 hours this is a lovely relaxing place the outside hot tub is boiling hot plus the outside suna is great with a is lovely. The bedroom was lovely we had a super king room with sea view. All was great until we went to sleep the bed is rock solid which we don't like.

Had the best night stay here this weekend! The room overlooked the sea to the south was gorgeous, although this didn't have evening sun but not their fault, if you wanted evening sun book rooms on west side but overlooks the car park a bit. The staff were lovely and friendly, the breakfast was amazing with lots of good quality fresh ingredients. The pool included was good but they've removed the nice deck chairs inside at the end and plants so it feels less luxurious now compared to a few years ago, we were hoping to sit by the poolside and chill for a bit but you can't really do that. Other than that we would love to stay again!
