A lovely B&B within walking distance to Falmouth or the nearby beach. They had an honesty bar with ice which we thought was a lovely touch to the place (we didn't use it but it was there if we had fancied a drink) Our room (Garden) was really cosy, super comfy large bed and great little en suite. We could see the sea from the little bay window seating area. Plenty of tea and coffee, milk, biscuits and chocolate plus bottled water. Breakfast was a continental, the fresh yogurt and cereals and fresh fruit were super tasty and fresh toast. Clive and David were great to chat to especially as they knew our home town Parking space available on site so it was good to not have to pay for parking Would recommend and definitely stay again if we were in the area

Perfect room for our night away from the kids. Met by friendly owner on arrival and staff member was great at breakfast. Location is great for town and beach. Only downside, hence only 4 stars, was no option for a hot breakfast which was a bit disappointing as I had looked at reviews before booking and saw mentioned how good the full English was.

A typical simple country side house,basic but comfortable. The hosts are exceptionally friendly n warmth. Next to the beach n near railway station.

A disappointing experience. I booked for my parents to stay here but found that the hotel fell short in a number of ways that made this feel more like an AirBnb than a hotel. Overall it feels like it is optimised for the convenience of the owner rather than for the enjoyment of the guests. The check-in window was very narrow, just 4-6pm and when we arrived at around 5:30pm there wasn’t anyone to check us in, just a number to call and a key box, not exactly the hotel experience I was expecting. Despite other reviews here mentioning the full English breakfast this is no longer provided and it is a cold continental breakfast instead. The breakfast window is only one hour, either 8-9am or 8:30-9:30am and the options and quality seemed to vary depending on who was working. We booked the Balcony room, which had a lovely balcony and view, but the door to this was extremely difficult to close and my parents had to wedge it shut with a piece of tissue. When they arrived this balcony door was wide open, meaning the room was quite cold, given it is mid-March. The radiator is very effective but the valve on it is set up in reverse meaning it is not exactly straightforward to heat the room up. The location is great but it feels like it is being run with bare minimum effort and I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you are expecting a hotel experience.
