Walk in at ground floor to an open-plan living and dining space with high ceilings and patio doors framing views across to Skiddaw and the surrounding fells. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with dishwasher, combi microwave and oven, and separate washer-dryer. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a king bed and ensuite shower, the other with two singles—and a bathroom with bath and shower.

The property sits on the edge of Thornthwaite village, three miles west of Keswick. A bridleway runs immediately behind the building, leading on foot to Braithwaite in just over half a mile, where there's a shop, restaurant and two pubs. The surrounding landscape is built for outdoor activity: Whinlatter Forest for mountain biking, the fells for walking, and Bassenthwaite Lake for sailing or fishing. The patio can be reached by steps with a private gate; a summer house and gardens are shared with other properties on the site. Parking for two cars is included, as are wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels. The property is non-smoking and sleeps four.
