This is such a special place to stay. Kate is so helpful and I feel she has thought of everything; from the amenities in the room to the towels in the entrance for the dogs after walks. She and the other staff are attentive without being overbearing. The place is spotlessly clean and the location is perfect - just a short drive into Keswick. Would be back in a heartbeat if we were back in the area.

Kate was THE hostess with the mostest! She was welcoming, informative and friendly. We were up and out early to hike up Blencathra, Kate sorted us a little brekky of fruit and yogurts to take with us. The bed was comfy, bathroom clean and fully stocked with the most beautiful products. She was willing to book us a table wherever we wanted to eat, told us about the buses, how far things were to get to. Our view was wonderful, it was so hot this weekend we had the windows open the whole time and it was lovely the room had a little seat in the window so it was so calm to watch the wildlife. Breakfast this morning was DELICIOUS, fresh and cooked exactly how we liked it. Nothing was too much trouble and because her guesthouse is small we had lovely chats over breakfast with other guests... would HIGHLY recommend

⭐ Five-Star Experience! Nothing was ever too much trouble for Kate and the team. They welcomed both us and our dog with open arms and provided everything we could possibly need, from towels and trays for his bowls to cosy fleeces on the bed. The only request was that dogs stay off the white linen, which goes without saying. The breakfast was amazing, made with locally sourced produce, and our pooch was absolutely spoiled too he even got a sausage every morning for his own little breakfast. He was also allowed to enjoy the enclosed garden, which was a lovely touch. I’d highly recommend this guest house to family and friends, and we will most certainly be back. There’s truly nothing they haven’t thought of. Plenty of helpful information was provided about the local area, transport links, tips, and nearby pubs and takeaways. A wonderful stay all round. We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are lovely with high quality extras and the bed is really comfortable. There is an excellent choice for breakfast which is very high quality and gets the day off to a good start. The lovely home made fresh cakes, fresh fruit and along with the fresh milk available in the dining room are another special touch. This was our second stay here and we have another booked for next year, I fully recommend this b&b, we thoroughly enjoyed our stays.
