What visitors say
A truly delightful campsite in a sublime setting (farm.est.in 1568) far enough from the crowds of Keswick yet close enough to do everything you need to. It attracts a great swathe of good people (especially families). Despite the traffic (although not that many relative to other sites) the facilities remain clean and the hot water never runs out. Service is brilliant too with special thanks to Connor for jump starting my car when I had a flat battery too. In short, great site, great facilities, great service, sublime setting - and all within 10mins walk of 3 pubs! Enjoy !

A brilliant campsite. Conveniently located with a 15 minute walk into town for pubs/shop/cafe and several walks straight from the site. We hiked up Grizedale Pike, which was spectacular. Just down the road is the bus stop for regular rides to Keswick. The shower room is well kept, warm and clean with hot water and the toilet block is also clean. There is a small shop on site and the lads manning it and the site were friendly and really helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

Great facilities and a stunning campsite in the countryside. Easy to pitch the tent, friendly staff. Little shop to get bits and easy check in and stunning views, about a 1km walk to the nearest pub and not a far drive from other villages, also great bus availability. Would be great to have an adult only area as it’s quiet after ten but had a crying baby in a tent nearby into the early hours of the morning when we stayed, not the campsites fault but we chose this site for some peace and quiet, so don’t appreciate a crying baby through the night

We absolutely love Lanefoot farm campsite. Everytime we visit the Lakes we always try and get booked in. We have a Mercedes campervan and find the pitch size perfect, plenty of room between pitches with beautiful scenery. Facilities are perfect for what we need, very well kept and very clean. These guys have thought of everything. Lovely walking routes straight from the campsite. Either straight into Braithwaite upto force crag mine, or picturesque routes up into Whinlatter forest, off the main road whether your mountain biking or on foot. Lovely pubs in Braithwaite and fantastic food at the cafe in whinlatter. Keswick a short car drive away or even a bike ride. Perfectly placed. ❤️
