Ladstock Hall 3 is a two-bedroom cottage converted from a former country house, three miles west of Keswick. You arrive at a property with substantial grounds: a front patio area, rear terrace that opens directly onto a bridleway, and gardens that include a shared summer house. Parking for two cars is on site, with additional visitor spaces available. A bike store is provided if you're planning rides into the fells.
Inside, the ground floor holds a living room with Smart TV, DVD and Blu-ray players, and an electric fire, alongside a kitchen-dining room equipped with an electric range, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a king bed and en-suite shower, the other with two singles and a family bathroom with shower over the bath. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and superfast fibre Wi-Fi are all included. The cottage is no-smoking throughout.
The location suits walkers and cyclists; bridleway access from the rear terrace leads to Thornthwaite and beyond to Braithwaite, where there's a village shop, cafés and pubs. Longer routes reach into Newlands Valley, Borrowdale and toward Bassenthwaite Lake. Note that there are significant level changes in the grounds.
