Derwent View

Milburn sits within reach of some of the Lake District's most recognisable peaks. Derwent View occupies a slightly raised position overlooking the water and surrounding fell landscape, with outdoor seating angled to make the most of it. The cottage itself is a traditional two-bedroom property sleeping four, with parking for two cars on site and one well-behaved pet welcome at no extra cost.

Bedrooms comprise one double and two singles. The ground floor has a living room with a woodburning stove and smart TV, and a kitchen-dining space with electric cooking, a microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. A shower room completes the layout. Wifi, electricity, bed linen, towels and wood for the stove are all included; a highchair and welcome pack are provided. The cottage is non-smoking.

Keswick is a short drive away for shops, restaurants and museums. Derwent Water itself offers boat trips, kayaking and gentle walks along its shores. Serious hikers head for Catbells or Skiddaw; family-friendly routes run all around the lake. The fell views from the cottage garden are particular in the early morning or at dusk.
