Middle Howe

Walk through the entrance of Middle Howe and you step into an open-plan living space that runs the width of the apartment. Large windows on three sides frame fell views in different directions; there's comfortable seating, an electric fire, and a dining table anchoring the room. The kitchen sits at one end, equipped for proper self-catering with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. A door leads out to a balcony with a bench where you can sit with a view across the grounds.

One bedroom holds a kingsize bed with an ensuite shower room; the other has two single beds and an ensuite bathroom with a bath. A separate toilet off the hallway serves the living areas. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. The property sits on a rural site near the hamlet of How, with private parking for two cars and bike storage available. Portinscale village is close by, and Keswick lies about half an hour's walk away through the landscape. Note that the property is not suitable for children under 12, and no smoking is permitted.
