Riverside Cottage

Riverside Cottage stands next to the River Greta with direct access to some of the Lake District's most walked hills. Latrigg, Skiddaw and Blencathra all begin from nearby; Derwentwater is reachable through Hope Park, where you'll find mini golf and putting greens. The town centre of Keswick lies fifteen minutes on foot, delivering restaurants, pubs and outdoor shops within easy reach. Launch trips around the lake run daily from the jetty, with multiple stops for walkers heading into the fells.

The cottage holds two bedrooms—a double and two singles—and one bathroom upstairs. Downstairs offers a living room with television, a kitchen and dining space with electric cooking, and a study. French doors open from the kitchen onto the garden, where there's seating and a private parking area for two cars. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. The essentials are covered: bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are all included.

Note that the staircase to the bedrooms is steep and winding, and the ground floor has split-level steps between the utility area and kitchen. The river runs directly alongside the property. No smoking is permitted inside.
