Tynedale is a traditional stone house at the outskirts of Keswick, built to accommodate families and groups exploring the North Lakes. The property gives you the run of the whole place to yourself, with three bedrooms across two floors—a double, two singles, and a bunk room—plus a family bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs, the living room and dining room both have fireplaces, while the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, and washing machine. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included; one pet can stay free.
Outside, an enclosed garden with patio and seating looks onto green space, and there is parking for two cars on site. Walking takes you into Keswick town centre in around ten minutes—head across the road through Fitz Park or follow the River Greta path into the high street. Once there, you'll find independent shops, restaurants and cafes alongside the usual outdoor brands, plus a lively market. Theatre by the Lake sits 1½ miles away on the shore of Derwentwater, where you can also hire a rowing boat. For something different, Puzzling Place plays with optical illusions a little over a mile off, the Derwent Pencil Museum is similarly close, and The Lake District Wildlife Park at Bassenthwaite is 8 miles distant. The house works well as a base for walkers and cyclists heading into the fells—Latrigg, Catbells, Skiddaw and Helvellyn are all nearby. No smoking indoors.
