OK pool, poor reliability If it weren’t for the fact this is the only 33m pool in the area, I’d have gone elsewhere ages ago. My latest frustration was having a late-night swimming session cancelled because staff wanted to watch the football. I appreciate that many people enjoy major sporting events, but when you’re not a football fan and this happens to be one of the only late-night swimming slots available, it’s a rather bitter pill to swallow. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time planned swims have been disrupted due to staffing shortages or other operational issues. It’s difficult to rely on the timetable when sessions are regularly vulnerable to cancellation. The facilities themselves also leave a lot to be desired. The showers are often unpleasant, basic maintenance issues such as missing hooks go unresolved for long periods, and the overall impression is that the changing facilities aren’t being properly looked after. The frustrating thing is that the pool itself is OK for the most part. A 33m pool is hard to come by locally, and that’s the main reason I’ve remained a member. However, cleaner facilities, better maintenance, more reliable swimming provision and additional late-night sessions would go a long way towards improving the experience.

Shocking disgusting standards of cleaning. £65 a month for premium is disgraceful. The sauna and steam room are never clean, people who don’t pay to use it just barge their way in. Tiny free weight area. Pool is dirty and doesn’t get cleaners properly or often enough. Definitely AVOID

Great new facilities since refurbished. Came for toddler soft play session, which runs in the sports hall on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sundays 9:30-10:30. It's £5 per child, so could get expensive with more than one child but perfect for bringing my 18 month old. The set up was two bouncy castles, some sit and ride vehicles and a selection of soft play shapes on mats. Not too busy so would be good for SEND children also.

Avoid this place until it gets the air conditioning up and running. They spent millions on this gym but apparently cant get the air conditioning running and where you can't open the windows cause some genuis thought it would be a good idea to have non opening windows in the gym, you'll be working out in what feels like a green house.
