Walking into Jasmine Cottage means entering a thatched property where old bones and new comfort coexist. Downstairs, a sitting room with a wood burner anchors the ground floor, alongside a kitchen fitted with an electric oven, gas hob and dishwasher—everything needed to cook properly rather than merely reheat. A utility room with a washing machine rounds out the practical spaces. One bedroom and a shower room also sit at ground level, useful for anyone who finds stairs difficult.

Upstairs, three more bedrooms make up the sleeping arrangements: one double with an ensuite shower room, and two further doubles configured as pairs of singles. A main bathroom serves the upper landing. Across the property, you get heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi as standard; the wood burner comes with its initial fuel already laid in. Eight people can stay here comfortably, with one dog welcome too. Parking for three cars sits on the drive, and a back garden with seating looks out over the village.

The cottage sits in Osmington, positioned for both the Dorset coast and the quieter countryside inland. The Sunray Freehouse Pub lies nearby. Note that the stairs are steep and narrow, and some doorways and ceiling heights are restricted—worth checking if mobility matters. No smoking indoors.
