The main living room centres on a wood-burning stove, a genuine feature rather than ornamental: its warmth and character genuinely matter on cooler days. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking, whether that means breakfast at leisure or a full dinner after a day out.

One bedroom has a kingsize bed and its own ensuite shower; the other holds two singles and shares a family bathroom complete with bath and heated towel rail. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and the initial fuel for the stove are all covered. The cottage sits on private parking for two cars and welcomes one pet at no extra cost, provided you don't smoke inside. Arrival is after 4pm and departure before 10am.
