Pigsty Cottage

Pigsty Cottage is a single ground-floor unit sleeping two, set within a working farm estate in the Dorset countryside. Everything you need is here: a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge; a living space with a 55-inch smart TV; a double bedroom; and an ensuite shower room. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. The cottage opens onto a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue.

The 22-acre grounds are shared with other properties on site and contain tennis courts, woodland and lawned areas, plus a games room equipped with a pool table, table tennis and skittles. Fishing for carp and roach is free. A washing machine and tumble dryer in a shared utility room mean you can do laundry during your stay. There is parking on site, and a bike store if you want to explore further. Note that a stream and lake sit 100 yards away within the fenced grounds.

This location suits couples seeking a quiet base within reach of the Dorset coast and countryside. The site is in the Bride Valley, with the Jurassic Coast nearby for fossil hunting and beach visits. No smoking is permitted in the cottage.
