Rhonepark Steading

Rhonepark Steading suits families and groups after space and privacy. The whole cottage is yours—three bedrooms, two bathrooms, sleeping up to six, with everything on ground level. One bedroom has an ensuite; the other two share a family bathroom. The open fire warms the living and dining area, and the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking rather than holiday shortcuts.

Outside, an enclosed garden with patio and seating faces the property. A pub sits within walking distance. The setting opens onto the Dumfries and Galloway landscape: lochside walks, forest trails, coastal paths, and access to Galloway Forest Park and the 7Stanes mountain biking network all nearby. Castle Douglas, three miles away, hosts Food Town Day each June. Fishing from the loch can be arranged. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are included; the first load of firewood comes with the booking. The property is non-smoking. Dogs are welcome at no extra cost.
