The Smithy is a three-bedroom house in New Galloway, positioned between the Galloway Forest Park and countryside worth exploring on foot or by car. A pub sits within a mile. The property sleeps six across three double bedrooms, with two bathrooms and a shower room to share between them. Downstairs there's a living room, a kitchen/dining space with a woodburner, and outdoor access through patio doors to a lawned garden with seating areas and a barbecue.
The kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and full-sized fridge and freezer included. You'll find Wi-Fi throughout, and the essentials such as bed linen, towels, electricity and heating are covered; initial fuel for the woodburner is provided. A utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. There's parking for two cars on the property and a bike store if you want to explore the forest trails. The garden has an unfenced stream running through it, so take note if you're bringing young children.
