Glenkens Lodge

Everything in Glenkens Lodge happens on one floor. You arrive into an open-plan living space where the sitting area, dining area and kitchen flow together without interruption. A wood-burning stove anchors the room, while the kitchen carries a full set of appliances—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave—so you can cook properly. The bedroom holds a kingsize bed with quality linen, and the ensuite has a shower cubicle and toilet. Essentials like electricity, heating, wi-fi and logs for the stove are included; a welcome pack arrives with you.

The lodge sits in open countryside near Dalry, a small village with a shop, pub and restaurant a short way down the road. A veranda with furniture and an overhanging roof faces outward; dark skies and quiet make it a place to settle in. You have parking for one car on site and a bike store. The Southern Upland Way passes through Dalry for walkers, and the surrounding lanes work well for cycling. No smoking indoors.
