Causey Arch Cottages - Teddys Cottage
County Durham
Within walking distance lie several attractions worth the trip: Causey Arch, a historic single-arch bridge, is nearby, as is the Tanfield Railway with its steam trains. Beamish, the open-air museum, comes with complimentary entry. The surrounding woodland and country trails offer scope for walks and cycling, while a picnic area sits adjacent to the grounds.
Teddys Cottage is a single-storey conversion for two people, entirely on one level. The open-plan living space contains two sofas, a Smart TV, and a dining table; the kitchen has a two-ring hob, electric hob, combi microwave, and fridge for self-catering. A double bedroom and walk-in shower room complete the layout. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included in the price. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
Outside, there is parking for one car and a shared paved seating area. If you have a dog, it can exercise in the owner's fields on site at no extra charge. A tea room operates daily on the grounds. No smoking is permitted in the cottage.
