About Springkell
A dedicated bridal suite sets the tone at Springkell, a country house hotel built for gatherings as much as quiet stays. Set in the grounds around Eaglesfield in Dumfries and Galloway, it pairs the character of a historic house with facilities more often found at larger venues, including a spa and sauna, a games room, and meeting rooms for business use.
Bedrooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks provided in the room, with family rooms and accessible rooms also available. Guests can eat in the on-site restaurant or take a packed lunch out for the day, and there's a bar and outdoor seating in the garden for warmer afternoons. Practical touches include free WiFi, an electric vehicle charge point, 24 hour reception, laundry service and free on-site parking, while childcare and concierge services are on hand for those who need them.
The surrounding area suits walkers, cyclists and anglers, with fishing available nearby and country walking and cycling routes on the doorstep. A pub, restaurant and further entertainment can be found close by in Eaglesfield itself, making Springkell a workable base for a wedding party, a business meeting, or simply a slower few days in Dumfries and Galloway.
