Vineyard's Apartment suits couples after a base for exploring East Cambridgeshire without the drive. The whole place is yours—a ground-floor open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and a sitting room with Freeview Smart TV, plus a first-floor bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with bath and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included.

From the front door, Ely's medieval centre is a two-minute walk away. The cathedral, Stained Glass Museum, Ely Museum and Oliver Cromwell's House are all within the historic core. The riverside, with its restaurants, tea rooms, antique centre and boat trips, takes eight minutes on foot. Independent shops, traditional pubs, a twice-weekly market and farmers' market scatter through the narrow streets. If you want a break from sightseeing, an enclosed back garden with seating and furniture is at the rear, and there's private parking for one car.

Cambridge lies 20 minutes by train (20 miles by road); Newmarket racecourse is 15 minutes by car; Norfolk's coast, Wicken Fen and WWT Welney are all within 45 minutes. London is just over an hour by train. No smoking inside.
