Sedge Lodge is a three-bedroom lodge on the Wood Fen estate outside Ely, sleeping up to six guests in self-catering accommodation. The property has its own entrance, garden with patio seating, and access to four acres of natural grounds. A hot tub is available for private use. The ground floor contains an open-plan living and dining space with a woodburner, plus a kitchen fitted with a gas cooker, dishwasher and all standard appliances. The main bedroom has an ensuite shower; a second shower room serves the other two bedrooms. Parking for two cars is on site, and there is bike storage.

The three bedrooms comprise one kingsize and two twin rooms. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; logs for the wood burner are also provided. Dogs are welcome at no extra cost. The lodge is non-smoking. Guests should be aware that there is an unfenced lake 150 yards from the property. The nearest significant town is Cambridge, roughly 20 miles south, with its museums, colleges and river punting. Norwich castle and Kings Lynn are within reach for a day trip, as is Duxford's aviation museum. Closer to home, the Fens landscape itself offers walking and cycling opportunities, and Complete Kitchens Ely is near the site.

Simply one of the most relaxing holidays we’ve had. The cottage and gardens were lovely, quiet and the hot tub helped with winding down and said relaxing. Hosts were lovely as was the very generous welcome pack of bread, wine etc. Enjoyed Welney wildfowl sanctuary and hospitality of the lamb and flag (Memoirs of a fen tiger a favourite book)they were close by and definite recommend. A perfect place to stay with so many wonderful places in easy reach

The lodge/cottage was very clean and welcoming. It's nice to have en suite shower rooms for both bedrooms. Easy to get to Ely, used park and ride for Cambridge which was £4 return ticket. Slight downside was the noise from the road, I'd expected a quiet country lane! Would definitely go again.

We were welcomed warmly by Yvonne our host, who made sure we felt comfortable during our day. The day was very well organised, facilities were well appointed and our lunch was delicious. Our treatments were relaxing and we would 100% go again!! Highly recommend this hidden gem!

My daughter and I spent yesterday at the Spa. It was our birthday present to each other. 10am- 5.30, we had this oasis all to ourselves. What a treat. Yvonne was wonderful and provided a delicious lunch. Sitting in the Jacuzzi for most of the day in the sunshine, talking non stop - bliss. What a quiet and tranquil spot. We will definitely be back. Thank you xx
