Pheasant Barn

Pheasant Barn suits groups of up to ten—extended families, friends gathering for a long weekend, or anyone wanting space without the usual hotel feel. The conversion keeps its original character: exposed beams and high ceilings let natural light flood through, but the five en-suites and separate ground-floor toilet mean people aren't queuing for the bathroom. Bedrooms range from doubles to singles and king-sizes, with the master featuring a freestanding bath as well as a walk-in shower. One dog stays at no extra charge.

The open-plan living area on the ground floor serves as the hub—sofas, a smart TV, pool table and games occupy the main space, with the dining table seating all ten. The kitchen has an electric hob, oven, dishwasher and everything else needed to cook for a crowd, or you can walk to a pub via the footpath without moving the cars. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; heating comes from an air-source heat pump with underfloor heating throughout. There's private parking for three vehicles and an electric charging point if needed. The back garden has seating and furniture for outdoor time. No smoking inside.
