I loved staying at the Alba House in Edinburgh! It’s a gorgeous little place, and Cath is a wonderful owner and host. My only complaint is that the bed was super hard, and not very comfortable. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this guest house and would stay again.

Easy access to the historic center via bus. Short walk to a shopping center with Aldi and McDonald's. No elevator nor air conditioning as normal British house.

Cath was very welcoming and kind. The room we had was very spacious and pretty. Extremely convenient, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. Only takes about 15 minutes to get into the main area of Edinburgh via the bus. Can’t wait to stay here again next time we come to Edinburgh!

Such a cosy place to stay in when you're in Edinburgh. It was very clean. Even though it's not a stone's throw away from the center, you'll get there pretty quickly by bus. Quiet street, ideal to get some sleep.
