Appin House - Guest house

About Appin House - Guest house

Breakfast and a proper bar are both taken care of at Appin House, a small guest house on Queen's Crescent in Edinburgh with just six rooms and a restaurant on site for guests who would rather not head out for every meal. It's a compact property but a well-equipped one, with a lift, air conditioning and free WiFi throughout, plus a garden for anyone wanting a bit of air after breakfast.

Beyond the rooms, the facilities stretch further than you'd expect from a guest house of this size: an indoor swimming pool, gym and spa/sauna sit alongside meeting rooms, business services and even a wedding venue setup, with porter and concierge services and childcare available on request. Free on-site parking makes it a practical base for those arriving by car.

Edinburgh Zoo is within easy reach, and the surrounding area has pubs, bars and restaurants nearby for evenings out beyond the in-house options. It's a straightforward, well-appointed base for exploring the city rather than a destination in itself.
