Staying here felt like visiting a dear friend rather than checking into a guesthouse. Irene welcomed me with such warmth and sincerity — it immediately set the tone for a wonderful stay. The space is beautifully kept, thoughtfully decorated and absolutely spotless. Really enjoyed our recent 3 night stay at Sonas Guesthouse.. It’s up a lovely quiet street but a great location and well within walking distance of the city centre and all Edinburgh attractions. Bus stop is around the corner if walking is not for you. Rooms are very comfortable and spotless. The breakfast bag each morning is a great idea and the chocolate bar and water a lovely touch in the room. We arrived early and met with Stuart who was very friendly. There was no problem keeping our bags until our room was ready. We would highly recommend Sonas as a great place to stay in Edinburgh.

We had an outstanding stay at Sonas Guest House! We were greeted so warmly and were taken well care of. The rooms and restrooms were perfect, and the morning breakfast bags were so kind and thoughtful. The area was very peaceful and just what we wanted after a long day in town. Overall, this was a great place to stay, especially for a trip to Edinburgh, since it’s not too far from the nearest bus stop and super convenient.

We were absolutely delighted with this accommodation! All three of us were very impressed, both by the warm and welcoming staff and by the room itself. The room was very clean, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and had a truly special charm – almost like a little dollhouse. We felt comfortable right away. The location was also excellent and perfect for our stay. We would gladly come back anytime and wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation!
