What guests say
We booked this guest house, thinking it would live up to the reviews. The property is located in a suburban area, but it’s easy to reach Edinburgh city centre by public transport. As soon as we arrived, we were faced with a rather complicated self-check-in procedure: they’d forgotten to provide us with the code to open the room. Apart from that, the room was spacious but there was nowhere to put our suitcases; the bathroom left a lot to be desired, with a shower mixer that seemed to know no middle ground: either freezing cold or scalding hot. The noise from the street was really excessive, with cars driving up and down until 3 am. The breakfast was generous.

The room itself was comfy, but there was a huge draft in the window. And with the cold temperature was not the best. However i managed to warm up the room and the stay was ok. Good portions on breakfast, tasty, classic. Bus stop just in front of the property.

The location is conveniently situated near the city centre, making it easily accessible. The bus stop is just outside the gate, providing a hassle-free commute. The room was spotlessly clean and basic amenities were provided. The breakfast was decent, but it wasn’t anything extraordinary considering it’s a budget accommodation. I would have rated it a 5 if the wifi had been functional during our visit. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant experience overall.
