About No32 Hotel
Step into a room at No32 Hotel and you'll find a smartly finished space with modern touches, kept clean and comfortable, alongside air conditioning to help on warmer days. With only 11 rooms, the place has an intimate, townhouse feel rather than the anonymous corridors of a larger hotel, and a lift makes getting to your floor straightforward.
Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar for meals and drinks on site, plus breakfast available each morning, free WiFi throughout, and a small gym for those wanting to keep up a routine while travelling. A garden offers a spot to sit outside, and practical extras such as luggage storage, porter services and concierge assistance are on hand, along with free on-site parking for anyone arriving by car.
The hotel sits on Coates Gardens in Edinburgh, within reach of Haymarket, and Edinburgh Zoo is a nearby point of interest worth building into a visit. Nearby pubs, restaurants and other eateries add options for evenings out. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and prices are considered fair for what's on offer, though some guests have noted that communication with the hotel can occasionally be tricky.

What guests say
What a lovely little hotel this is. Beautiful decorated, glamorous bathroom and immaculately clean. The person who booked us in was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was available however we didn't have this due to a very early start to our day. Really great location within walking distance of the centre, however bus and tram stops are located at the end of the road should the 25 minute walk be too long. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants within 5 mins from the hotel. Would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel.

This hotel is super close to Haymarket tram station which makes it convenient to get to anywhere in the city. Our room was very small, with a small bed. I didnt anticipate that, but its okay. It was still comfortable. The road this hotel is on is relatively loud with a lot of traffic so if you are a light sleeper, may not be the best option for you. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff were very nice and friendly. However, there was hardly anyone there when we were there. After we checked in, we never saw anyone at the reception desk. Communication was also rather difficult. I received emails from 3 different accounts which was a little concerning for data privacy reasons. Im not sure how long this hotel has been around, maybe they are still working out the business kinks. Overall our stay was okay and hope the hotel can iron out its communication for future travelers to make the experience more comfortable.

Nice room, clean, had issue with shower one day [drain didn't drain], told front desk - no problem the next day. Tea / coffee fixings in room - nice. Bar very quiet but fine. Bed very comfortable. Hotel quiet - around the corner from great bars, restaurants. Excellent access to transportation- bus, train, tram.

We really enjoyed our stay at No.32 and would genuinely recommend it — with one honest heads-up for light sleepers. The hotel is small and cosy, which honestly works in its favour. It feels personal and welcoming rather than corporate, with fresh flowers dotted around, beautiful décor, and a really warm atmosphere throughout. The rooms have been newly decorated and everything feels clean and well looked after. Our room was on the smaller side and there’s no proper wardrobe, but it didn’t bother us too much, it was still a lovely space to come back to after a long day exploring the city. Now, the curtain situation. There are none. In summer, Edinburgh light comes in early — and we mean early. We found ourselves waking up way before we wanted to, and it also made privacy a bit of a juggle. When we mentioned it to the staff, they were so kind about it, they immediately offered us a different room at no extra cost. It turned out to have a similar setup so we decided to stay where we were, but the fact that they responded so quickly and genuinely wanted to help really stuck with us. The staff honestly made the stay. They were warm, helpful, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Housekeeping was great, the room was spotless every day, and we loved the little daily touches like fresh water, tea, and coffee. We didn’t manage to try the breakfast or the evening bar, but both are on offer and add to the feeling that this is a place that really thinks about its guests. All in all, No.32 is a gem. Charming, characterful, and run by people who clearly take pride in what they do. Just pack an eye mask and you’re golden!
