What guests say
Very convenient place to stay, 2 minute walk to Haymarket Train station and tram/bus stops. Our room was quite small and had to step over the bed to get to the curtains but was spotlessly clean. Beds were so comfortable. Heating and water was red hot and had plenty for both to shower. Staff were very helpful and friendly, recommended places to eat. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Would definitely stay again

(I booked my stay via Booking.com, and this review is also over there) First off, the staff. The staff here are absolutely fantastic, some of the most kind and helpful people I've ever met while staying somewhere. Thankfully there were no problems, but if there were then it's great to know that there are staff available 24/7. The room we stayed in was a family suite, it was huge, and most importantly comfortable. It was basically a full apartment. It had a nice shower room, living/dining area and a master bedroom. The living room had 2 sofa beds in so there was space for 6 people really, so for my family of 4 stay, we had ample space to be comfortable. The bedding was super clean, there were towels provided, and the pillows, they are feather and REALLY comfortable also. The location of this hotel is superb. It's next to a tram stop, bus stop, so it's easy to get to train stations, the zoo, castle, town and more within minutes. I've got to say, if/when I visit Edinburgh again, I'll certainly be staying here!

I call this the "you get what you pay for hotel". My experience was pretty good and would stay again. I didn't have any real issues. We stayed on a Saturday night for£80. Which was very good compared to the competition. Checked in was straight forward and the room was massive (attached picture). Check out was fairly painless too. The bed was nice and comfy and the room was clean. The downsides were nothing severe. The toilet was pretty small for the size of room, and there was some sort of issue on the top left part of the ceiling. The room we were in was facing back yard which did have some noise but nothing to annoying. Overall, would stay again!

Sorry to said it, but I will not recommend this hotel. The hotel only showing rooms looks nice in their photo. But the truth is you might have half chance to stay in a tiny room. The room size is not the biggest problem. The problem is a lot of things are not work properly. Please check the 1-star review before you book this hotel. It might be the room you will stay. About the room I got: 1. The sink is almost blocked. So you can’t even wash your hand properly. 2. The door of the shower room is broken. 3. The fan of the toilet is not working. 4. The filter of the kettle is disgusting. Due to the sink problem, you can’t wash it as well. 5. There’s a hole next to the door. But it does not bother me anyway. 6. The bath mat was put together with towels on the bed when I first came in.
