About Pollock Halls
Two thousand rooms puts Pollock Halls among the largest places to stay in Edinburgh, occupying a substantial site at 18 Holyrood Park Road in the City of Edinburgh. It's a B&B built for scale, with the kind of infrastructure more usually found in a small town than a guesthouse.
Guests get a restaurant and bar on the premises, along with breakfast, free WiFi and air conditioning in the rooms. Practical extras run to a garden, luggage storage, laundry service, porter and concierge services, valet parking and an electric vehicle charge point, plus free on-site parking for those driving up. The property also functions as a wedding venue, so it's set up for events as well as overnight stays.
Location-wise, Edinburgh Zoo is a nearby point of interest, and Edinburgh Waverley station is under two miles away, making it workable for both sightseeing and onward travel. Pubs, bars, restaurants and entertainment are all within easy reach nearby, adding some choice beyond the property's own dining room.
People say this university accommodation offers a varied and plentiful breakfast with many options, and rooms are clean and well-maintained. Guests also highlight the budget-friendly prices, convenient location, and friendly staff.
Some reviews mention the beds can be uncomfortable.
