About Aberllynfi Riverside Guest House
Aberllynfi Riverside Guest House occupies a modest five-room property in Glasbury, giving it the feel of a small, personal guest house rather than a large hotel. It's an adults-only stay, which suits couples or friends looking for a quieter break in the Powys countryside.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and garden views, along with drinks provided in the room. Breakfast is included, and packed lunches can be arranged for days out. Guests can make use of the garden and outdoor seating, or the picnic area, and there's 24 hour reception along with luggage storage for those arriving early or leaving late. Free on-site parking is available throughout the stay.
The surrounding area offers plenty for those who like to be active, with cycling, walking, fishing, horse riding and watersports all nearby, and the Brecon Mountain Railway within reach for a change of pace. Pubs, restaurants and other entertainment are close by too, and the wider Glasbury countryside makes a good base for exploring the Wye valley on foot or by bike.

What guests say
Oh my - where to begin? A wonderful guesthouse situated just on the banks of the Wye river - a perfect place to explore the rich beauty of Hay on Wye and Bannau Brycheiniog. It's a quaint guesthouse with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of character. The room was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities we needed for a short break. Breakfast was delicious and made fresh every morning . I can't commend the hosts any higher - kind, gracious, friendly and always ready to offer tips on where to go and what to see. We can't wait to return.

Stunningly beautiful guesthouse, lovely owners who truly looked after me, and the most bucolic views at breakfast. I strongly recommend staying here. Was sorry to leave! Will be back....

Absolutely recommended! Many thanks to Tina & Dave for this wonderful stay in this marvellous place. We immediately felt very welcome. Everything was perfect: the room, the breakfast and also the wonderful people we met during the Hay Festival. We already miss the conversations at breakfast and the very friendly atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.

Overall a wonderful stay. A nice house with beautiful views. The owners were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. We were unable to stay for breakfast so they made us breakfast and a little lunch to go every morning which I thought was a very thoughtful and nice touch. We stayed here as we were working at the Royal Welsh Show, and the house is around 20 mins from there. A nice restaurant and pub in the village. Would recommend and return again.
