About Aberllynfi Riverside Glamping
This adults-only spot in the grounds of Georgian Aberllynfi House offers just one beautifully appointed bell tent, guaranteeing a peaceful escape with direct access to the River Wye. The setup is thoughtfully designed: a kingsize bed under canvas, a separate kitchenette cabin with all the essentials, and your own outdoor space complete with deckchairs, picnic bench and barbecue. A private bathroom with shower sits a short stroll away at the main house, and all linens and toiletries are provided.
The real draw is the riverside location – you can wild swim, fish or launch your own canoe right from the site, or hire one from the nearby activity centre. Glasbury village and its welcoming pub are just minutes on foot, while Hay-on-Wye's famous bookshops are five minutes by car. The Brecon Beacons beckon for more ambitious adventures, but with those Wye Valley views from your pitch, you might find it hard to tear yourself away.

Overall a wonderful stay. A nice house with beautiful views. The owners were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. We were unable to stay for breakfast so they made us breakfast and a little lunch to go every morning which I thought was a very thoughtful and nice touch. We stayed here as we were working at the Royal Welsh Show, and the house is around 20 mins from there. A nice restaurant and pub in the village. Would recommend and return again.

Had a wonderful time at the riverside guest house after a day of cycling in the Wye valley! Everything was perfect to be honest! Tina was very welcoming, the room was lovely, the breakfast delicious.. not too much else to say! We really appreciated our time here, thank you Tina! Alex and Zac

Absolutely recommended! Many thanks to Tina & Dave for this wonderful stay in this marvellous place. We immediately felt very welcome. Everything was perfect: the room, the breakfast and also the wonderful people we met during the Hay Festival. We already miss the conversations at breakfast and the very friendly atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.
