Cae Einion Cottage
Gwynedd
You arrive at Cae Einion Cottage through a front garden with patio and seating, with parking for three cars on the drive. Inside, the ground floor opens into a generous living room and separate dining room, both with woodburners, alongside a fitted kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and breakfast area. There is also a separate toilet on this level. Upstairs are two kingsize bedrooms and a shower room with cubicle shower. The cottage sleeps four and comes as your own space entirely.
Underfloor heating runs throughout, with logs for the fires provided. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking rather than heating up takeaways. One dog is welcome here, though the property is non-smoking.
Dolgellau is a fifteen-minute drive away, with supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and independent shops. The Mawddach estuary is nearby, and Barmouth and Fairbourne beaches are within reach. Miles of hillside walks begin from the surrounding pastureland and woodland; Cadair Idris is close by for those who want to tackle it properly. This is genuine rural territory, high enough to feel removed from everyday life but accessible enough that you can reach a proper town for an evening out.
