Gallestra Farmhouse

Gallestra Farmhouse stands in open countryside high above the Mawddach estuary, within Snowdonia National Park. The 16th-century stone building sits among pastureland and mature woodland, with the coast at Barmouth and Fairbourne within reach, and hill walks starting from the door. A north-west facing garden means sun for most of the day.

The farmhouse sleeps six across four bedrooms: one single on the ground floor, a kingsize and another single upstairs, and a second kingsize in the study room. One bathroom with a shower serves the property. Downstairs, two living spaces each have wood burners with large fireplaces; the kitchen/dining room is fully equipped for cooking, with a separate utility room housing a washing machine and extra fridge. Original features—exposed beams, period flooring, the inglenook fireplaces—sit alongside heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi all included. Logs for the burners come with your stay. Outside, a courtyard garden with furniture and parking for three cars. No smoking throughout. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
