Harbour Apartment

The Ffestiniog Railway and Zip World are both within easy reach of Harbour Apartment, a one-bedroom base in Porthmadog. The town itself is built around a working harbour, and from the second-floor apartment you can watch the estuary from a private balcony. Porthmadog also has the Welsh Highland Steam Railway if you're interested in heritage railways, and Black Rock Sands—miles of beach backed by dunes—is close by. Portmeirion, an Italian-style village designed as a complete artwork, is a short drive away, as is Harlech with its castle and long seafront.

The apartment has a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower cubicle, and a living room that opens onto the balcony. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, hob and microwave for self-catering. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. There is private parking for one car. One well-behaved pet can stay free of charge.

Inland from the coast, Blaenau Ffestiniog offers Zip World and Bounce Below, a trampoline experience inside a slate cavern, plus mountain-bike trails. The wider area has walking routes and water-sports options. No smoking is permitted in the apartment. Check-in is after 16:00 and check-out before 10:00.
