Sailing Home

Sailing Home is a well-equipped villa-style property right on the water in Porthmadog, with views west across the harbour. The open-plan living space on the first floor has everything needed for cooking and eating—oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, and a breakfast area—while patio doors open onto a balcony overlooking the water. Heating, electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included, and you have private parking for one car on site.

Three bedrooms sleep five: a king on the ground floor, a single in a separate room downstairs, and two singles upstairs. There is one bathroom with a shower cubicle, plus a separate toilet. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. The property is non-smoking.

Porthmadog is a working harbour town at the southern edge of Snowdonia. The Ffestiniog Railway, the UK's longest heritage line, runs from here; Portmeirion's Italian-style village and the wide sands of Black Rock are within easy reach. Harlech Castle and Blaenau Ffestiniog—with Zip World and underground trampoline parks—are a short drive away, as are walking, biking and water sports across the coastline.
