Rivers Edge Penthouse

Rivers Edge Penthouse occupies two floors of a converted building in Porthmadog, with harbour views across the water. The first floor holds the living and dining space, which opens onto a balcony, plus a kitchen with electric cooking, dishwasher and washing machine, and a separate toilet. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower, two with single beds each, and a shower room shared between them. The second-floor main bedroom also has its own balcony. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided; there is parking for one car on site.

Porthmadog itself is a working harbour town with the Ffestiniog Railway running steam trains up into the mountains. Black Rock Sands, a vast expanse of beach and dunes, is nearby. Portmeirion's Italian-influenced architecture lies a short drive away, as does Harlech Castle. Inland, Blaenau Ffestiniog offers Zip World and Bounce Below, along with downhill mountain bike trails. The surrounding area has walking and cycling routes and water sports. The penthouse sleeps six and does not permit smoking.
