Spacious Villa with Views
Gwynedd
Spacious Villa with Views suits families and small groups wanting a base in Gwynedd without the constraints of a shared building. The two bedrooms—one double and one twin—sleep four, with a single bathroom on the ground floor. One dog stays free. The upper floor is open plan: a living area with Freeview TV opens onto a balcony with water views, and the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with an electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave alongside the usual essentials. Electricity and bed linen are included; there's parking for one car on site, and no smoking indoors.
The villa sits on the edge of Porthmadog, a working harbour town where the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Steam Railway still runs—a long heritage line climbing from sea level towards Snowdon's foothills with views stretching to Caernarfon. Beyond the town lie Black Rock Sands, a broad beach of fine sand; Harlech Castle, a UNESCO site overlooking golden miles of shore; and Portmeirion, an Italian-style village with cafés and shops. Zip World, Bounce Below (trampolines in a slate cavern) and downhill bike trails operate at Blaenau Ffestiniog. The MinoTaur mountain bike trail is about 30 minutes away. A pub is within a mile of the property.
