Tremafon

Tremafon is a converted barn on the ground floor, set within Snowdonia National Park with the River Dwynant running through the surrounding grounds. The open-plan living space contains a woodburner, smart TV and Bluetooth speaker. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge, so you can cook properly rather than relying on takeaways. Bed linen, towels and initial logs for the woodburner are provided, along with wifi and parking on site.

One bedroom has a double bed (4ft 6in), the other two singles (3ft). The bathroom has a bath with shower over. An enclosed garden with furniture and a barbecue sits accessed by steps from the property; note that the surrounding grounds include unfenced river frontage and a natural water supply. A footpath runs from the doorstep for walking straight into the landscape. One dog is welcome. The property runs on oil central heating and has a shared laundry arrangement with the owners if needed.

Barmouth, with its sandy beach, shops, pubs and restaurants, is 3 miles away. Harlech Castle and a championship golf course lie 12 miles off. Riding and fishing are available nearby. No smoking inside.
