Ty Pen Y Bryn
Gwynedd
Dolgellau sits at the gateway to Snowdonia, with the Cader Idris massif rising behind the town and the coast at Barmouth and Fairbourne a short drive away. Ty Pen Y Bryn occupies an elevated position above the town, set back from the road on its own in a quiet spot with countryside views across the surrounding hills.
The house has four bedrooms across three floors and sleeps nine. Downstairs is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a study with bunk beds for flexible sleeping. The first floor contains the main living space—an open-plan room with a 40-inch television, patio doors to a Juliet balcony, and a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave, plus a breakfast area. One bedroom with twin single beds is also on this floor. Upstairs are three more bedrooms: a kingsize with an en-suite walk-in shower, a double, and a twin room with a single bed. A family bathroom with bath and shower serves the upper floor.
The rear garden has a south-west-facing patio and hot tub for four, with furniture and a gas barbecue for outdoor meals. Parking for two cars is on site. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. The property does not permit smoking. A ten-minute walk brings you to Dolgellau's shops, cafes and restaurants, with supermarkets closer still. Dogs are welcome.
