Cottage 7 - Skye Cottage

A stone cottage on the grounds of St Benedict's Abbey, Skye Cottage 7 stands within 20 acres of private land between Loch Ness and two rivers. The building holds two bedrooms and one bathroom across two floors, sleeping up to six with the sofa bed downstairs. A king bed and en-suite occupy the first floor; two single beds sit in the second bedroom. The ground floor bathroom serves the sofa bed sleeper, and there's an open-plan living space with kitchen and wood-burning stove.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can cook or do laundry as needed. Patio doors from the living area open onto a lawned garden. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are covered. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. The property comes with parking for two cars on site.

Beyond the cottage itself, guests can use the shared swimming pool, sauna, steam room, tennis court and children's playground (book any facilities in advance). Fort Augustus Lighthouse and the Caledonian Canal lie within the broader setting. Non-smoking throughout.
