Moat House 6

Moat House 6 occupies two floors within the grounds of a former abbey in Fort Augustus, on the banks of Loch Ness where the Caledonian Canal meets the water. The location puts you in a working village with shops, restaurants and bars, alongside boat trips and walking. On-site you have access to a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, tennis court, snooker table and other games (book ahead to use these).

Downstairs holds the main living space with a TV and dining table for six, plus a kitchen equipped for real cooking—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower, the other with two single beds and a family bathroom. There is also a separate sitting area with a sofa bed, useful as either extra sleeping space or a second lounge. Bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and wi-fi are included. The property sleeps six and has parking for two cars on site. No smoking.
