Monastery 17

Monastery 17 is a second-floor apartment within The Highland Club Official in Fort Augustus, sleeping up to six. The two bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower, the other with two singles—are separated by a family bathroom featuring a roll-top bath. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with parking for two cars on site.

The open-plan living area runs the length of the apartment, with a dining table seating six and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer all come as standard. The lounge has comfortable seating and a large television for downtime. Beyond the apartment itself, residents have access to the on-site swimming pool and sauna, plus shared facilities including a tennis court, snooker table and table football—these need booking in advance. The property is reached by stairs only, so not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. No smoking is permitted.

Fort Augustus Lighthouse and the ruins of the abbey are nearby, and the setting on Loch Ness puts you at the heart of the Highlands for exploring further afield.
