Travel When not Gardening

Great option for the kids break. Lovely people and service. Picnic tables and a water station available. Warn your kids to close their eyes on zip lines endings, they use wood chips to soften the landing and saw dust can get into the eyes. I wish they had a proper cafe with toilet facilities on site.

We had a few issues, basically discovered that neither of us could do heights. But we got taken off the middle row and put on the bottom one, which we managed. The team did everything within their power to ensure that we had a good day and enjoyed ourselves. They were all exceedingly kind and attentive, very focused on safety and procedures. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone, as you are looked after both in terms of your physical and psychological safety. Cannot thank the team enough for ensuring we had a good day.

A Fantastic Experience at Go Ape! Although we've visited many times before, this was our first time actually using the activity area — and what a great decision it was! We were inspired by social media and friends' experiences, and decided to give it a go for our child. He absolutely loved it. The young staff were amazing — professional, friendly, and clearly know how to help kids feel relaxed and ready for the adventure. The small forest area in Alexandra Palace is such a magical setting, and the whole team made it even more enjoyable with their welcoming smiles and helpful attitude. From the information desk to the waiting area, everything was smooth and well-organized. All the children looked happy and excited — a great atmosphere! In terms of pricing, it's definitely worth it as a one-off, but for families who’d love to return more often, it can be a bit of a stretch budget-wise. Maybe a monthly pass or a discount for repeat visits could be considered? Thank you, Go Ape, for bringing such a fun and enriching experience to our local area. You're doing a fantastic job!
