The Collingdale Guest House

Spent a long weekend at this lovely hotel whilst catching up with friends. The hotel is a beautiful old quaint Victorian house on multiple levels. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. It was like having a big hug and seeing old friends when we were greeted. Everywhere was clean, tidy and well looked after. Breakfast was beautiful with a wide choice. The location was good only being a 5 minute walk from town. Sharon had plenty of recommendations for us of places to eat or drink and the welcome book in the room had many more. We would definitely stay here again in Ilfracombe and found it better than booking private accommodation. My only piece of advice would be to take advantage of their car parking spaces if they have any availability. It's a small cost but well worth it and saves any hassle.

Fabulous guesthouse run by Sharon and Daryl. We had a brilliant 2-night stay at the Collingdale. It’s a really lovely guesthouse – immaculately kept. Warm welcome, great hospitality and superb breakfasts. They are also really knowledgeable about the Ilfracombe area – and that was so helpful. The full Devon breakfast was 10 out of 10. The kippers were 11 out of 10!. A shout out to Sue too for being so attentive in the dining room. 100% recommend and do book direct to support local business. Thank you so much Sharon and Daryl. We booked The Collingdale in Ilfracombe last minute for one night, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The house is lovely and very welcoming, and everything felt comfortable and well thought out. Our room had a beautiful sea view and a balcony, which made the stay even more special. The breakfast was absolutely delicious — a real highlight of our stay. Sharon was exceptionally helpful and hospitable, and nothing was too much trouble, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also loved spending time in the lounge and making use of the extensive choice of games available — such a nice touch! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Lovely B and B in Ilfracombe. Great position with views over harbour and easy walk to restaurants, shops etc. Sharon and Darryl excellent hosts with plenty of information when booking and during stay. Breakfasts very tasty with plenty of choice. Room was kept immaculately clean - tea,coffee etc provided in room which was replenished daily. Comfy bed and soft white towels very welcome. Thanks for a super break.
