What visitors say
This was a great day out with the gardens and then massive park with it. The atmosphere was pretty relaxed and obviously a popular destination. Considering there was a festival there the week before it was clean with massive trees to hide under on the hottest days. There are toilets and a couple of refreshment areas depending on which parking spot you choose. Not really happy with being forced to use my phone to pay for parking as this is signal dependent and could have ruined the day but it was cheap. Also ice-creams were £17 for 3 which is pretty excessive but that's what happens if you have a captive audience. This is a green park so no space for scooters and advisable to bring balls, kites, and a picnic etc.

The perfect place for a picnic! Huge park with lots of space, gardens and walkways. Plenty of trees for shade, will definitely be back for another picnic here again 🤩
