We had a lovely stay here for three nights. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and very generous in portion size. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Simon and Jonathan were incredibly welcoming hosts, and their hospitality really made the experience special. We felt genuinely well looked after throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Perfect setting for a long weekend away. Home from home, clean, en suite rooms. Made to feel welcome and always a friendly welcome from Simon and Jonathan. Really appreciated the honesty bar including a comfortable room to sit and chat at the end of the day. Helpful tourist guidance to make the best of your stay. Really couldn't ask for more.

Really enjoyed our weekend at The Avenue guest house. Simon and Jonathan were perfect hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. The room was clean and well presented with a small en-suite bathroom that looked brand new. Everything worked as it should. The breakfast is nothing short of incredible, with a deconstructed format, just tell Jonathan what you want and it’s cooked freshly to order. The ingredients seemed of high quality and were beautifully cooked. If you have the “double everything” (afraid I did too often!) it will easily keep you going until evening. Lovely conservatory and garden, TV lounge and bar. Some off street parking available (we had no problems parking, but at busy periods I would assume you may not be able to park on the forecourt, however street parking is available). We do not get to the island often, but would definitely go back to The Avenue whenever we return.
