Black Pan Holiday Cottage

Black Pan Holiday Cottage suits couples and those travelling with a dog. It's a single ground-floor unit on Merrie Gardens Farm between Sandown and Shanklin, on the quieter southeastern coast of the Isle of Wight. The cottage is not suitable for children under 16. One car can park on site, and the property is yours alone for the duration of your stay.

Inside, you get a bedroom with a double bed, a shower room, and an open-plan living space combining kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The kitchen has what you need to cook properly—two hobs, a combination microwave and oven, fridge and freezer, and a dishwasher. A sofa bed offers extra sleeping space. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included. There's an enclosed garden with patio seating and a lockable gate, useful if you're bringing a dog; pets stay free.

Lake beach is within walking distance down the cliff path, and the promenade between Sandown and Shanklin—good for both walking and cycling—runs along the seafront nearby. The Island Line train station is close by. No smoking in the property.
